Heather Doyle Fraser cannot remember a time when she wasn't singing. Her vocal style is versatile –feeling equally comfortable and at home singing Celtic, Jazz, Folk or Rock. She has performed with many bands over the years, but truly loves Celtic music. As a co-founding member of the Ladies of Longford, she has always enjoyed expressing the complex emotions found in the stories of Celtic music - and you can hear it in her voice. Whether at a live show or on one of the Ladies of Longford CD's, you can feel her smile or her sorrow as she communicates the rich stories always present in the songs. In addition to her vocal expertise, Heather adds rhythm and exuberance to the Ladies of Longford sound as a percussionist for the group. She plays djembe and other percussion instruments, bringing an undeniable energy to each song and every show.  Heather has performed both locally and nationally and has added her talents to nine CD projects over the past several years.
